Contract Packing
Recognising the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries'
requirement for comprehensive outsourcing facilities,
MYHc includes contract packing facilities within its portfolio.
Holding MCA and FDA licences Bedford offers the complete
service, where components can be sourced within the Division
- the customer supplies artwork, specifications and bulk
dosage and receives packed stock, QP released if necessary.
Packing is performed under contract ( 1-5 year contracts),
or ad hoc where Bedford provides services during times
of exceptional activity for our customers.
Various sundry and rework services are also available:
Kitting: Bedford can source componentry, collate according
to customer's MPS and deliver "kits to line"
(cartons, leaflets,foil, PVC).
Clinical Trials:Bedford has a long history of conducting
packing for clinical trials.
Re-work: Where necessary (due to new livery or extended
shelf life) Bedford can rework existing stocks using "double
reconciliation" to ensure that all new stock is correct
and that the old components are all accounted for and
securely destroyed.
